Folegandros Island

Folegandors belongs to the SW part of the Cycladic islands. Its size is 32sq.km, the highest point is 455m and its distance from Piraeus is 104 nautical miles. Folegandros has managed an envious balance. It has unique adjustment to human activity whilst still within nature’s limits.

Although it enjoys a remarkable rise in tourist interest and has the foundations to support it, what is really impressive is that everything in this island moves within a certain limit and doesn’t sell itself in the name of an anarchic tourist growth.

Folegandros is an island of outstanding beauty. It combines the wild Aegean scenery and traditional architecture with its truly hospitable character of the residents.
